As a musician, I am crazy for anything music, and this is one of the best places to celebrate music. Specifically, this museum has an amazing collection of Jimi Hendrix memorabilia. But where other collections stop, Search for Experience Music Projects begins, looking at how Hendrix's music revolutionized music for generations to come. It is a groundbreaking exhibit that truly captures the essence of Hendrix. The museum has a rotating collection in addition to a house collection so no trip to this museum is the same. Currently, the Experience Music Project is featuring a Battlestar Galactica exhibit. It's collection is unlike anything you have seen anywhere else. The EMP is also a leader in events. They hold dance parties, concerts, and classes. Their website is a great resource too. The location is excellent for a visit while exploring Seattle, as it's right next to the Space Needle. This museum is a great date stop for residents of Seattle and visitors to the city. There are so many things that get you talking, discussing. From music theory to the evocative Brave New Worlds exhibit, this museum makes you think. The Music Project lives up to its reputation as cutting edge, innovative challenging and FUN. It is a must see in Seattle! Experience Music Project address and hours EMP is located in the landmark Frank Gehry building at the base of the Space Needle Open daily 10 am to 7 pm in summer. The cafe is open betwen 11 am and 5 pm. Adult tickets are $18, or $15 online. Situated at St Pancras in central London this library boasts of its magnificence and glory. It is the world's largest library holding around 150 million items including books, journals, magazines, patents and music recordings. It has everything one can think of from a historical manuscript dating 300 BC to the newest publications around the world. Once you are in the library you will find it hard to leave because of the splendid and superb thematic exhibitions including some of the rarest and finest books open throughout the year to the general public in the Sir John Ritblat Gallery at no charge. The King's Library is a marvelous 17 meter glass walled tower containing an astonishing 65,000 prints collected by King George III. The library has a modernized look with complete sound proofing and holds some world class exhibitions and programs throughout the year. The best thing about this library apart from its magnificent looks and huge collections is that you can always manage to have interesting and intellectual conversations with the people over there. The general public gets the opportunity to see some original works like that of Magna Carta, Captain Cook's journal, Geoffrey Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, Jane Austen's History of England and many more like them of which you might have only heard of. If you are interested in any kind of research work then this place is like a Mecca for you. You can find any possible book or important paper related to your interest in this library.
