Congrats to Torre DeRoche: Author of Swept

I love a happy ending.

Last month we ran Love & Travel week to help launch the debut of Torre DeRoche’s memoir Swept: Love with a Chance of Drowning. She was self-publishing the book and we were lucky enough to offer her ebook version of the book here on Almostfearless.com.

Well, that didn’t last long. Two weeks later, Torre had not only an agent and a book deal but multiple offers and… she sold the movie rights to the film. (Yay!) She tells the full story here.

Of course, that means the book is no longer available, so if you missed it, you’ll have to wait until 2013 for the new release. In the interim, please join me in congratulating Torre and wishing her the best of luck in her fabulous new career.
